Approach

We developed a method for solving problems and continue to evolve this method over time to increase its effectiveness. This method is broken down into three main areas: Research & Discovery, Competitive Analysis & Design Exploration and Execution & Implementation.

Research & Discovery
As part of a value-added service, retzcanter conducts a free discovery process that goes beyond our initial meetings so that we may further understand your needs and goals. This is the most important phase of our creative process and the success of the over all project depends on it. We review your companies current material and competition’s materials to look at what works and what doesn’t.

We will use a tool called “The Discovery Document” to assist with organizing the information needed to design the initial concepts. The purpose is to determine your needs and create a “road map” to follow during the creative process.

The time spent completing this information will directly impact the quality of the deliverables. As a rule of thumb, you can’t supply too much information up front. Please allow 1-2 hours for this process.

Competitive Analysis & Design Exploration
We use “The Discovery Document” throughout this process. Our goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses of the client and identify the competition and their existing designs and messages. In the exploration phase, we push our creative boundaries, write, sketch and talk out ideas. Then we challenge our analysis. After careful review, we start building our initial designs to present to you, the client.

Execution & Implementation
This final phase starts with a selection of an initial design. We work closely with you, writers, photographers and printers to put it all together. We like to work as a team believing that all members have a stake in a projects success.
